Jesus is the Reason

Jaala has been really excited about this season. She is getting into talking about Baby Jesus, singing, dancing, and all the yummy goodness that comes with Christmas. She also is waiting patiently to open all her gifts that are under the tree.

While eating lunch the other day, Jaala turned to me, and asked, "Mommy, baby in her

tummy?" At the moment, I think she is finally made the connection, that she will be a sister sooner than later. Such a sweet one! I am 32 weeks, 8 weeks left, and I have another ultrasound appointment on Tuesday, to see baby girl again.

Matthew has one week left of Graduate School, internship, and it will be official!!!! He is super excited to be done, but I don't think as thrilled as I am!!!! He will walk in May, but will be looking for a counseling job now.

Finally....

Matthew and I just got back from a trip from China, with our church. We provided help with missionaries there, doing leadership training and teaching English. Matthew and I had an amazing trip, and really enjoyed working together in ministry on the field. He was in his element, and I liked it, but of course was challenged in many ways as well too.

We have been in our new townhome since August, and are finally unpacking the last boxes, and hanging up the last pictures. We enjoy our new home, with our own washer and dryer-no quarters to insert, Internet, a land line, and a basement for storage and play area for Jaala. She has all her toys, tent, and books down there.

As many of you already know, I am almost 26 weeks pregnant, doing well, and we're expecting another GIRL to our family. Our family could not be happier, adding another girl, I ALWAYS wanted a sister, so Jaala is blessed to have a built in best friend and sister!! Jaala told me the other day about being a sister, I think she is getting the fact that she actually will be a big sister in February.

Jaala will be 2 1/2 in December, loving life, but recently got the "walking pneumonia" we have been treating her with antibiotics and a nebulizer. She is feeling much better and back to her old self again.

She loves dancing, reading, wearing dresses, princesses, and playing with her babies. She is 100% GIRL and is still is spicy as ever!

2 Year Old Pics

Two Already?

Jaala Grace turned TWO on June 3!  We can't believe our little girl is two and growing up that she is!  We had a little celebration for her on her birthday, and will have a party for her when my parents come to visit in a week!  Jaala is talking a lot more, saying sentences, playing with her dolls and stuff animals, feeding them, and changing them often.  She likes all dolls to be naked!  

Funny story:  The last couple of nights, I have been checking on Jaala before I go to sleep, good thing I did, because twice, she either had her diaper off, or all or her clothes off!  She loves to be naked!  

We love her dearly and are very grateful for her sweet spirit and her heart for people.  Her favorites are dogs, taking walks on the trail, and everything with flowers.  Jaala is a joy to be around and we hope and pray that she will love the Lord! 

Haircut

I got a foot and a half of hair cut off, the other Friday.  WOW!

He has Risen!

We hope everyone enjoyed their Easter with family and friends!  We went to a friend's house for lunch, Andy and Rendy's home.  What fun!  Jaala had fun with their two older boys!

Grandma Goodness

My mom came here a couple of weeks ago.  We did a lot of shopping, sewing, playing, and just plain goodness.  We enjoyed having her, and look forward to another visit in June, from Grandma and Grandpa Flynn for Jaala's 2nd Birthday!
