TOO Long

Sorry it has been too long, summer has been super busy, but a lot of fun.  In July, we went to LA to visit Matthew's grandma, aunt, uncle, and great aunt.  We went to the LA Zoo and had a lot of family bonding time.  Matthew made a lot of homemade lemonade, from his grandma's lemon trees.  She also had avocado, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, and kumquat trees, all organic!  It was great to connect and see family again!

We also took our first road trip with Jaala this summer.  We did the Barnes' Family Reunion, in Famington, Minnesota, spent time in Plateville with Oma, Opa, Joshua, and Rachel, went to see my friend, Dana Reed in Milwaukee, with her new daughter Nora, and lastly saw my family in Wisconsin.  We celebrated my brother's 30th Birthday and had a surprise baby shower for John and Sara, they're expecting in November.  A boy, and his name with be James Robert Process, after my father.

After getting back from our road trip, we went to the Denver Zoo and we will go to Estes Park, and Rocky National Park too this week.  Lots of family bonding time before Matthew goes back to school.  He starts at the end of August.  Also Matthew and I are going on our first overnight stay in Winterpark.  Our friends, are going to watch Jaala for us.

Hope everyone had an amazing summer!

Peter Pan and Jaala

Today, at the play ground, Jaala found her shadow.  I wish I could of captured it on video, because it was too precious for words.  She tried grabbing it, but of course she was not successful!

She also started dancing in circles and giving kisses.  Oh, how we love our sweet, sweet, Jaala Grace!
